As you are aware, the healthcare industry is growing by leaps and bounds and the CSSD plays a pivotal role in infection prevention.
Hence, introducing an online course with the intention of creating knowledgeable and responsible CSSD technicians and managers who are well trained and can take up the reins of a CSSD without any induction, which is a crying need today. The course will cover all aspects of CSSD, including planning, cleaning, packing, sterilization and quality control so that the candidate is ready to set up /work in a CSSD.
This is a certificate course which has been exclusively designed at equipping hospital personnel with the skills required to set up and run a CSSD. The certificate will be issued by ISHA, a recognized and registered all India body founded in 2013. This body provides a platform for training and education in the field of CSSD. The course will benefit the institute in having a modern CSSD and getting ISO, JCI and NABH and any other accreditation.
The course will be administered in the form of Powerpoint presentations covering the various topics. The student can go through these at his own pace and undertake the exam when they are ready.

Eligibility :
Working in CSSD, OT, Microbiology, Administration or working personnel having a knowledge of English.
Duration:
Can be completed as per the student’s convenience, from 2 months to 1 year.
Method of Study:
Self Study through the simple, easy to follow lectures in the form of Powerpoint presentations mentioned earlier, which will be provided to the student. Exams will also be online from your home, when you are ready, no need to travel.
